Overview

Carolyn Vacca, Chair of the Division of Humanities

The AI Literacy minor is designed to equip students with the critical knowledge and analytical skills needed to navigate a world where AI increasingly shapes both personal and professional spheres. This minor is open to all undergraduate majors and assumes no coding experience and focuses on evaluating AI’s capabilities, limitations, and societal implications. By examining both the benefits and challenges of AI, students will be prepared to play an active role in shaping its ethical and effective implementation across industries. The curriculum prioritizes opportunities for students to understand AI’s impact and thoughtfully engage with its applications in real-world contexts. Through this interdisciplinary approach, students will emerge as informed leaders and responsible stewards of AI’s evolving role in society.
