Overview

The Master of Science in Strategic Communication prepares students for executive positions in public relations, advertising, and integrated marketing communication. The coursework will strengthen your communication skills, help you learn to apply quantitative approaches to problem-solving, and then combine these concepts with an understanding of media strategy, social media research, and brand management.

The Master of Science in Strategic Communication is equally well-suited for individuals with a background in communication, business, or any major in the liberal arts and sciences.

The program is ideal for students looking to continue their studies immediately following their undergraduate experience, as well as individuals seeking a career change or advancement within the strategic communication industry.

Offered in a mostly online format convenient for working professionals, students complete a one weekend residency at the start of the semester and a one weekend residency during their last semester. While most will proceed as part of a cohort, students may progress through the program at differing speeds.
