The School of Arts and Sciences is comprised of faculty from: American studies, anthropology, biology, chemistry, computer science, criminology and criminal justice, interactive media, economics, English, history, international studies, legal studies, mathematics, media and communication, media management, modern languages and cultures, philosophy and classical studies, physics, political science, psychology, religious studies, sociology, sport management, and statistics.
The School of Arts and Sciences offers degrees and minors in more than 20 undergraduate academic disciplines, along with interdisciplinary minors and scholarship programs.
In addition, the academic programs in the School of Arts and Sciences are primarily responsible for the College’s Core Curriculum, the component of the undergraduate curriculum that affirms the centrality of the liberal arts in the academic experience of all undergraduate students.
