Graduate programs at St. John Fisher College strive to provide:

Department Chairs
The department chair, at the graduate level, is the executive officer of their instructional department/program and is responsible for carrying out general supervision and policies of the department/program, and will report to the School dean. Duties of the chair include:
- Providing academic leadership in the ongoing efforts to maintain and develop high-quality programs.
- Collaborating to advance graduate education.
- Coordinating scheduling and staffing.
- Academic advisement of students.
- Serving as a member of the Graduate Program Council.
- Oversight of program academic policies and processes related to students.
Graduate Program Council
The Graduate Program Council, an academic standing committee, meets regularly to oversee all graduate programs and support services. The Council establishes and reviews curriculum and degree requirements, admission and academic standards, and academic policy for the graduate program, including grading practices and procedures. The Council must approve all new programs and all changes in these requirements and policies.
