The School of Business offers a variety of focused pathways leading to a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Designed for working professionals who want flexibility and relevance, Fisher’s efficient, AACSB-accredited MBA program equips students with practical knowledge and skills that can be applied immediately in the workplace. Courses are delivered in an online format, and each course features weekly synchronous Zoom sessions to create opportunities to engage more deeply with topics, faculty and peers. Our commitment to excellence in business education and our applied, real-world approach means Fisher MBA graduates are in demand and ready for what’s next.
Accelerated Time to Degree:
At just 30 credit hours, the Fisher MBA program is remarkably efficient. Depending on your concentration, students wishing to complete the degree in one year typically plan on taking two summer courses and four courses in each of the fall and spring semesters.
Flexibility:
Fisher offers MBA students the flexibility to customize their path to program completion, choosing a pace that best suits their schedules and available learning time. Students can study full-time or part-time, completing the program in as little as one year or taking up to six years if needed. Working students may opt for a slower pace, taking one or two courses per semester. Students may change their pace from semester to semester as needed to best balance their personal, professional and educational priorities. A discussion with your admissions representative or the MBA program director is highly recommended to help you design the most appropriate program path.
A mix of live, synchronous instruction in a virtual classroom and asynchronous content and assignments provides students with flexibility while maintaining regular connection with instructors and classmates. St. John Fisher University prides itself on meaningful, personal connections between students and instructors (the Fisher Touch). To this end, every online MBA course enjoys one 90-minute synchronous Zoom session each week, conveniently scheduled around traditional working hours.
Quality:
Our AACSB accreditation reflects our commitment to maintaining rigorous quality standards proven to deliver the best in global business education. Our world-class faculty possess outstanding academic and professional credentials, along with significant practical experience. We leverage Fisher’s robust and active alumni network, as well as strong business and community partnerships, to ensure that learning outcomes remain relevant and that students’ professional networks are enriched. Fisher MBA graduates enjoy a high placement rate and are employed by a wide range of respected organizations—from regional firms to global industry leaders—demonstrating that a Fisher MBA can take you anywhere.
