Students should consult with their academic advisors to ensure a coherent and academically sound plan of study. A Management internship is strongly encouraged; while students may earn credit for two internships, only one may be applied toward elective requirements.

Notes on Management Requirements

  • At least 50% of required business courses for the management major—including the business school core,  human resources, and electives—must be completed at St. John Fisher University.
  • Students should follow the recommended course sequencing and observe all prerequisites, as delayed or improper sequencing may slow progress toward the degree.
  • Management majors may not minor in finance or marketing; students seeking deeper study in these areas should consult an advisor about majoring in those fields. A minor in professional sales is permitted.
  • Management majors may not declare a double major in finance or marketing.
